Now, before you begin looking at my """art""", i think it's time i go a bit more in-depth about the why of this site. I began drawing semi-frequently in 2023, and most of my drawings were nothing more than stuff meant to be posted on Reddit. Yes, i used to be a Reddit user, i was a member of several subreddits that focused on my interests (like vexillology and alternate history for a brief time) but the one i used the most was the Touhou subreddit. That was the place where i posted my drawings, alongside a few posts where i said my opinions on various aspects of the series or simply posted some images. Near the end of February 2024, i entered into a long hiatus and moved away from Reddit, sometimes returning by writing sporadic comments whenever i felt like it. On December 27th, i deleted my account because a lot of the dumb crap i said there just didn't represent me anymore. Fast forward to January of this year, on the 14th i made a small drawing of the character Patchouli Knowledge on a white post-it, and that marked the beginning of what i like to call the "Draw-Once-A-Day" challenge! The rules are simple, everyday i have to make at least one drawing (sometimes i make more than one, but it's rare). And this is why VWC exists in the first place. Now i mentioned in my "About me" section that i am a huge Touhou fan, it has been my hyperfixation for 3 years. This means that most of my drawings are going to be Touhou related, so this section assumes that you're somewhat familiar with the series and its characters. If not, i suggest visiting the unofficial wiki as it is the perfect place to start learning about the lore, setting, characters, games and print works. Keep in mind that i'm not going to include every drawing i make, just the ones i feel are significant enough to be included here. Without further ado, let's begin!

------Drawings created in 2022/2023------
2023 was the year where i began drawing more often than usual. It was also the year where i joined Reddit (big mistake). The vast majority of my art was drawn on school-stuff, on unused diary and note-book pages as i did not yet have a dedicated Booklet where i could freely draw everywhere i wanted. Because my diary's pages were tiny, so were the drawings. So, the stuff i drew was usually small and not very rich in """detail.""" Some of these drawings will not be centered due to size differences

This is the earliest known drawing in my gallery, and also the first to be posted on my reddit account. It depicts Rin Kaenbyou, SA's stage 5 boss. In the past few months she has really grown on me, becoming one of my favorite characters due to her positive personality and her cute design (and also cus i like cat girls in general :P). This one was drawn on the very last page of one of my school note-books amidst a bunch of scribbles, and it's honestly impressive that it came out this decently considering i wasn't really trying.

This is a drawing of the character Kaguya Houraisan, final boss of IN. This one is based on the popular fan song called "Help Me Eirin", that's why Kaguya is screaming her name. For a while Kaguya was the only character i would draw in a frequent manner, mainly because she's relatively very easy to draw and it's very easy to get her overall design right. Kaguya is in a weird spot, she's not one of my favorite characters but i still regard her in a positive way (unlike Eirin who i view with suspicion), she's very goofy and funny. Yeah i couldn't get this one centered, sorry in advance for future screw-ups.

This is a drawing of Momiji Inubashiri, stage 4 Mini boss of MoF. I don't have any strong opinions on this character, but i do think she's cute. This drawing was basically an exercise in trying to draw more "complex" characters so to speak, it didn't go very well as you can see.

Another drawing of Kaguya blah blah blah....and by god if it looks bad!!!! Where do i even begin? that this was made with a pen, the sloppy handwriting, the wonky looking Kaguya or the messy background? ok it's not that bad but it's absolutely not good! Never draw on a diary!

Kaguya portrayed in typical fanon NEETdom. I completely moved away from that depiction, i imagine her more as a mysterious, 2 meters tall whimsical princess who likes teasing people. I cooked up an entire AU of Touhou in my head!

Drawing of Patchouli, stage 4 boss of EoSD (my favorite game in the series). This is a character you're going to see a lot here. Why? easy, because she's the easiest character to draw, her design isn't very complicated and so it's very hard to get it wrong. The way i've drawn Patchouli here has been pretty much unchanged for all these years, in fact i still draw her with a "T^T" expression!"

A very perplexed looking Reimu. The story behind this one is actually very interesting. You see, back in mid 2023 i believe, there was a brief street fight on the r/countonceaday subreddit started by a group of users who didn't want Touhou pictures to be uploaded to the sub. I was a member of the sub at the time and i witnessed first hand this bizarre "conflict", so i made this silly little drawing about it. :P

Drawing of Wriggle Nightbug, stage 1 boss of IN, looking rather wormy. This was was made in occasion for a human rights event held near my city's port, to which many schools (mine included) took part. Everyone had to wear a white T-shirt and draw a generic human rights message on it. I decided to make this. Surprisingly nobody noticed the creepy worm thing staring at their soul with empty black eyes. The caption reads "Human rights must be respected" (hell yeah they should).

Drawing of Mokou, final boss of IN's extra stage. This one was made at a good friend's cabin at my former local beach. I used her official portrait as reference because i wanted to make as little errors as possible. And i ended up turning her into a dwarf XD.

Drawing of everyone's favorite shrine maiden!!!11!!!!11!!! just like the previous two, this one was also made at the beach. The flag she's holding is that of my region, Apulia. Reimu is a character that i have learned to hate, she's right in my list of least favorite characters alongside Aya, Jo'on, Yukari, Marisa, Sanae and a whole lot of others. I have an entire list of reasons on why i hate her, but let's just say that i find her insufferable (ESPECIALLY IN UFO!!).

2024 was a rather lackluster year in terms of drawings. I began spending less time on Reddit and as a result i didn't draw very much, so these ones are going to look very boring and low-effort (compared to the next batch, that is). No commentary will be provided unless necessary

Drawing of Incidental F. This is one of the many no-name characters i've drawn, and this one is very interesting. Basically she's an eldtrich abomination masquerading as a human being. The gist is that she's always smiling and staring right at you with her empty eyes, and if you ever set foot inside her house, you will never come back. Sadly i lost interest in this character and she was quickly dropped. Ouch.

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for! 2025 is a significant year for my drawing activity. It's the year where the Draw-Once-A-Day challenge began, and my drawing skills have noticeably improved compared to the previous years. It's also the year where i finally got a good booklet with tons of blank pages to draw on! Enjoy!

And here it is, the drawing that started it all! This is the drawing that inspired me to begin the DOAD challenge, although it would officially begin on the 16th when i finally got my booklet. I made this one out of pure boredom. It's worth noting that Patchouli's dress has stripes on it, even though she doesn't actually have them in canon. That was a little oversight on my part :P.

A smol drawing of smol Patchouli and smol Remilia. Because i felt that the drawing was a bit incomplete, i decided to give Mii hands to Remilia (but not to Patchy cus reasons). Remi's dialogue is a small nod to the fact that Patchouli is the only person in the SDM to drink coffee instead of tea.

Look who just showed up! IT'S FLANDRE SCARLET!!!! When i was making this one, at first i was a bit fearful that it would come out like crap, but it actually came out pretty good (except for the hands ROFL). In my fanon i imagine Flandre as being somewhat of a edgy kid, one that thinks she's all cool and badass but is actually a huge softie inside. You can see Fakebob on the bottom right admiring Flandre's badassery. More on him later...

And now it's finally time to talk about Fakebob! Who is he? Basically the story goes that he is an ancient Babylonian demon accidentally conjured up by Patchouli during a magical incantation gone wrong. His only purpose in life is to be annoying. His favorite victim is Patchouli, but it seems he doesn't know that he shouldn't bite more than he can chew....

This one was an attempt at drawing characters in a more "detailed" way, and honestly? It came out pretty neatly, but then i tried drawing Koishi using the same style and it came out like crap. So i decided to just stick with my normal art style and develop it further.
